About Conference

The theme of the conference is “Deep engagement, lasting impact: Making a difference through research” which reflects the CDU Strategic Plan 2021-2026.

The conference gives future changemakers the opportunity to share their own research, learn from their peers, and engage in discussions about the best ways to make a lasting real-world impact through their work. The conference aims to inspire researchers to think deeply about the role they can play in shaping the future and to develop practical strategies for achieving real-world impact.

The event provides an opportunity for all Higher Degree by Research (HDR) and honours students to present their research to a wider audience across Charles Darwin University (CDU), researchers and the non-research community.

Research students will have the opportunity to effectively explain and promote aspects of their work and to hone their presentation skills. It is a great opportunity to also share ideas, build networks, and meet potential industry collaborators.
